Growing Boys

Yesterday we decided to do some shopping for the boys. Seems like they are growing like weeds. I typically do 2 "big" shopping trips for them a year. Once for summer clothes, and once for winter clothes. Well it is definitly summer here. I've also already learned that leaving swimsuits in the Arizona sun to dry will quickly ruin them. (Both boys had 2 sets of trunks that now have no elastic in the waist, thanks to the sun!) So Rand, the kiddos and me went to the Gymboree outlet last night to get some necessities. I tend to dress them alike, because one, I think it looks cute, two, they like it, and three it makes picking out outfits so much easier. As I was shopping, a woman walked past me on her way out the door and I overheard her say, "One thing I will NEVER do to my kids is dress them alike! My mom made my sister and I dress the same and we were 6 years apart. I HATED IT! Now my sister is dressing her kids in the same outfits and they are 2 years apart. It drives me CRAZY!" I was like, "Oookay. Apparantly some people feel very strongly about dressing their kids in their very own, individual outfits."
So, if you are one of those people who HATES when people dress their kids alike, I am very sorry and please ignore the following pictures. :) I like it and so do the boys. In fact, this morning (because of the woman in the store) I let Brendan decide which of his new clothes he would like to wear and then I let Wyatt pick what he wanted. And, of course, Wyatt picked the same outfit as his favorite, older brother. So, here's some pics for Nana, who wanted to see their new clothes!

good for you! the boys look adorable and as long as they like it, why not?! some people just have such issues, how rude of her to say it so loudly, she obviously knew you would hear her. It's a good thing you are so nice, if that had been Cody or Jenna, I think punches might have been thrown;) j/k :) (well, sort of). anyway, your boys are just getting cuter and cuter! I can't wait to have play dates when we get home!
Love you!

The boys do look good in their new outfits. Just wait until I get them matching float coats, hip waders, fishing hats, shirts with fish on them, and all the other fishing attire necessities. I don't get the surf look in Arizona, there is no place to surf, that state is lucky to have water at all.
