I Allowed This

Maybe it's just because he's a boy. Or perhaps it's because he is baby #3. Or maybe it's just because it's Arizona and there just a little more dirt here. Perhaps it is a little of all of that. One thing is for sure, Easton is always dirty! I can't remember Brendan or Wyatt getting this dirty this often!
He wants to play and I can't hold him while the other two run around and I can't bend over him constantly, so he's dirty. Real dirty. He's been known to suck on rocks and stick his wet fingers in dirt and perhaps eat a little dirt here and there. What can I say? He likes playing in dirt and he likes taking baths. It's a perfect world for this dirty kid!

The expression on his face in that last picture just freakin' cracks me up. But, I have to say, the dirt is so not me! I would have a hard time if I had a kid who liked dirt this much! Guess I'm okay with my sensory challenged kids who don't like mess on their hands. Sorta keeps the neat freak in me happy.

It is obvious that the sights, smells, and dirtiness of fishing are not going to be a problem for this kid.

I can't wait to see what he becomes when he grows up. He could be a farmer!! I am sure it will have something to do with dirt. We have a lot of dirt here in the PNW too, its called mud though!! I know that because I have been playing in it lately digging up my backyard. Just love that dirty boy! The Great Mudding Marshmellow!!
